Can I use a usb bluetooth dongle on my pioneer radio?

Question

I have a Pioneer deh-p5000ub car radio with the usb port. The radio can read jump drives and ipods without a problem, but if I were to connect a bluetooth dongle such as this one, http://www.meritline.com/mini-type-wireless-blueto... would I be able to stream music/phone calls through my pioneer radio?

First, that link doesn't work. 

Second, I don't see why it wouldn't work - it's essentially doing the same thing as the iPod - has an input and output and transfers the sound to the speakers. But to be sure, you should probably check the package or the specs and see if it's compatible with that stereo. Compatibility lists are generally available on the manufactures website. 

Crutchfield says that this stereo can accept a bluetooth device like the one you are talking about...

Tray CD/DVD drives will handle these disks... you just put them in the central (depressed) part of the tray and the drive picks them up fine. The only drives that have problems with these small CDs are slot loaders. If you've got a slot loader... 1) Download the driver from the makers website and install from files or 2) Get someone to copy the data from the mini-CD as an ISO and write the ISO to a full size disk and install from the full size disk.

Most car audio heads specifically block Blue tooth thru their USB ports, they want you to buy the next model up with built in blue tooth afterall.
