What does "da Geloschelber" mean? What language does it belong to?

It is something about dwarfs I guess.

Update:

It is written in a statue of an old dwarf defecating in a pot.

    it sounds like German, but it looks like it's misspelled. Could "da" be "der" (the)? Der Galosche is an overshoe. But that does not really make sense..
