Who else thinks that the government looks like two kids in the sand box blaming each other?

Should there be officially 3 party's instead of two or none at all? Would that break most of these stale mates?

Well, the idea behind the two-party system is one of balance, but that's presuming those elected to office actually think about the consequences of their actions.

Right now, I have to agree that it looks horribly like a couple of my kids squabbling and neither one giving the other any options.

2012 is likely to bring some major changes to the House of Representatives. Because of the way we elect our Senate, it will have a lessor impact.

In a way, I like the idea to bring this up again just before the 2012 election. It will help us decide what we like or don't like about our current representative. I've written my representative and been ignored. My senator responded with reason -- both are Republicans. I don't think I'll be supporting the Representative during the next election...

I'm in favor of a balanced budget amendment, but getting there from here is going to be painful and slow. In the meantime, I do not like to see the incompetency currently being displayed by the politicians in Washington DC.

This is just political theater put on by none other than our two headed one party system. AKA the "democrats and republicans" who exist in name only to create the illusion that we have a choice.

its painfully obvious they care more about the 2012 election and their careers then the American people. I can't stand ANY of'em. They've all ****ed us and left us with debt and no jobs. But do they ever take a pay cut for doing a ****** job? NO, they vote to give each other raises!

haha i like the answer above with rock paper scissors but yeah you can say that about it. Apparently, there is more polarization than ever.

If there were 3, it would be rock paper scissors and they would still fight eachother, lol.
