1989 Toyota Camry no start, ECM location?

Distributor went up in smoke and spiked the ecm. Have no spark or injection pulse, main relay is receiving power and is working. No power to distributor, I have replaced it with a new one. no noid light pulse. Fuel pump in receiving power, 10.01 volts at the pump only when cranking engine, battery voltage is 12.31 volts. Strongly suspect ecm was spiked when distributor went out. location of ECM needed to perform pin check of ECM. Any Toyota techs out there?

Update:

Went to a component locator and it shows the ECM in the passengers kick panel. Pulled two codes a 12 and a 51 I know the 12 is system check but have not found out what the 51 represents as yet. Any help?

Jump TE1 and E1 for your diagnostic codes. Count the blinks of the CEL for codes. I think ECM is on passanger side kick panel below glove box on the right if your sitting in passenger seat.

IF your car is cranking (turning over) it's very possible the [IGNITER} inside the distributor is BAD,they had a recall at one time and were replacing the Igniter at NO charge because they are DEFECTIVE.The Igniter WON"T stop the car from cranking but will cause it not to start. The DEALER probably doesn't want to lose money by replacing your switch @ no-charge or just doesn't have a clue about repairing cars.EVERY no-start i sent to the dealer they replaced the Igniter..

The ecm is on the floor in front of the center console.

Try replacing the igniter, it controls the spark.

Also, check for a diagnostic code by using the check engine light(google for the procedure and codes).
