How to configure my email server?

How to Configure your email server to block or remove email that contains file attachments that are commonly used to spread threats? My email server is Yahoo and I'm using Outlook Express version 6.

My computer was recently exposed to VBS.Runauto. I ran Norton, it detected the worm and quarantined it but I suspect it already compromised my MsWord files because everytime I open any of my MsWord files there appears same file name but 1st two letters are ~$

How can I completely remove VBS.Runauto from my computer?

Yahoo uses Norton to scan all incoming/outgoing emails. If you are using the paid POP 3 Yahoo service, you need to notify Yahoo Support for assistance.

As for OE 6, you are using an outdated Email Program and probably an outdated IE browser. Both highly targets of malware. If you haven't updated to IE 9 or using Chrome, Firefox or Opera browser, then you are just asking for infection. You must also keep up on all your Critical Updates for your operating system and Microsoft products.

See Removal Tools on Removal link.

Sometimes removal has to be done in Safe Mode. If you can set Norton up to do just that, then try having it run in Safe Mode on next boot up.
