How long do bubble-eyed gold fishes live for?

    I can't say for sure, but I have one named Willy who is 8 years old and another named Spec who is almost 5 years old :) if you care for them properly, they can live for quite awhile.

    They live for 15-20 years. They're a man-made fish.

    Strangely, I read something different from what others are saying. I'm not a fish expert, so perhaps they are correct.

    I read that their life expectancy is 5-10 years.

    They can live for a long time if they are cared for correctly.

    Anyway, make sure the tank is cycled, they get food on a regular basis and maybe find a friend for them? It all lies in the owners hands.
