snickers tv advert harmful to children?
Snickers tv ads show people getting struck by heavy construction equipment. Didn't see any connection with candy bar. Not a good image for young candy buyers to recall when eating Snickers. Maybe just another bit of violence to add to their memory. Oh yeah, I know we live in a violent world, but you wouldn't expect a company that gets most of revenue from 6-17 year old target group, to air a violent video. . I hope they apologize. I don't eat much candy, but when I do, it will be Babe Ruth, or Oh Henry; not any M&M products.

The real damage from Snickers is the candy itself. The ads are worthless and rather pointless as you describe. But kids see so much more violence from video game to TV that these ads are quite tame.

Please note that there are some educators who REQUIRE
their younger students be kept away from TV completely
at least until they are teenagers.

Yes,it is.I haven't bought a mars product since they put that gay commercial on during the superbowl years ago.
