Did you hear about the new Dunk Contest rules?

Only one round now. No courtside judges. Instead fans will choose the winner, by voting on NBA.com or Twitter or Facebook.

Good idea? Or no?

then the most popular player will win the slam dunk contest.

example if Lin help his team mate on the dunk, most of NYC

and asia will vote for Lin and his team mate.

    I don't like the idea.

Fans made Melo a starter in the all-star game; these are the people that will be voting for the dunk contest champion. Turrible, just turrible.

Good...because mcgee or ibaka should of won last year...and nate robinson should of only won it once.

Plus players have ran out of ideas when it comes to new dunks, so one round seems suitable.

It is also gonna be lay-up drill style isn't it? Like they just keep running and dunking one after another.

I think the NBA has decided that they have too many fans now.
