Why do people always say that the education in the U.S. is bad ?
The usa is the strongest country in the whole world,has the strongest army and the best tech. in wars and technology and that means that it has very good education.Correct me if I am mistaken .

USA is obviously no longer the strongest POLITICALLY, has LOST the last 2 wars, or at least NOT had a clear win, and is NOT the technology leader in MOST areas any more.
I don't know THEIR reasons, but MY reason for thinking that our education system sucks is to much "political correctness" in the attitudes and regulations put out by the government, school boards, etc. so as to attempt to guarantee that everybody goes to college; when a large % should NOT go to college due to their inability to do the work.
MOST "public" college freshmen have to take at least 2 "remedial" courses their first semester, usually English and Math, just to be able to UNDERSTAND college level school work.
Consider yourself corrected.

You are mistaken.
The USA used to have the best education in the world, but because American students spend so little time in school compared with other nations, they have progressively dropped further and further behind to the point now that the average American student's grasp of Math & Science lags behind that of students from all other "developed" nations...

um, some of that info is incorrect. and if u need proof of poor education... hang around here for a while, or go visit Reddit. there's enough proof between 'em.

It depends on where you live...
like in Texas it's great in most parts whereas in Louisiana it sucks
