How to prove that the union or the intersection of null set with any set equals null set?

    Let A = any set and E = empty set.

    Consider A intersect E. If x is an element of A intersect E, then x is an element of both A and E. However, x cannot be an element of E because E is empty.

    Union of A with E = A.
