Last night at 6:30pm 179.2lb this morning 177lb & i had 1600 calories, how did i lose that much weight?

I have never lost 2.2lb in a 12 hour period sleeping,,,how did this happen? It's a good thing 4 me but I just don't understand why. I'm 6 foot male 37 years old, if I knew what is going on, I would do it everyday until I hit my goal of 150lb

people burn calories in their sleep and mostly everyone sees a little difference in the morning. it normal.

your body will fluctuate daily. although you have never lost the weight this quickly, it does happen occassionally. it does not mean the weight is necessarily 'gone'. you may have just lost more water weight than normal, you may have excercised and burned more calories, etc. but dieting isn't a fool-proof system. your body will level out and gain a little back throughout the day, you may actually weigh more tomorrow. (i weigh myself every day, twice a day, and i go through a roller coaster of emotions because on minute i'll be .4 lbs away from my first goal, and then the next day i weigh 2 pounds more. at the end of the week though, i'm always down more than i started)

try to weigh yourself once a week. i know it's hard. i had my friends hide my scale for me so i couldn't weigh myself, but i dug around and found it anyway. it's not a good way to be. it messes with your mind. you will have better results if you weigh once a week... but we all know that's impossible for some of us!

Always weigh yourself at the same time every day as your weight can change throughout the day after meals etc. also make sure you have a decent pair of scales

You peed or pooped. That is the 2 pound fluctuation. And you didn't eat again.m

Also you burn calories when your asleep. Seriously.
