soft croutons, or make your own?

Have been buying Kroger store brand, and like the flavors, but they are very very hard. (even though I break them up into smaller pieces.). Bad for teeth, real and crowns.

Any brands softer, or how to make own. Thanks.

Take some bread (whatever kind you like) Cut into cubes, the size you like. Arrange on baking tray. Drizzle some oil over them and a bit of salt and pepper (garlic powder if you like garlic) toss to coat them just lightly in the oil. Stick in the oven at 350. Check then every 2 minutes until they are done to your taste. Very very easy to make.

cut up fresh, gluten free bread into cubes let them sit out for a day or two, then add the seasonings from the ingredients section of the packets of crutons you like.
