That's fine. However, I would make the white background for the text into a green similar to the background around it. Maybe a shade or two off.

@Ged Q: I think she meant no bad answers as in: "You suck!" "Your web site stinks of smelly feet!" "Sri Lankans are NOOBS!" <----- I think that is what she meant.

Also, I figured her web page is a personal site rather than one for education. If people want to get educated, they can click on the links at the bottom of her page. HOWEVER, I do agree with you that she should make it a bit more informative.

No bad answers? Then you Don't want to be criticised, so you must think your site is perfect. So why ask?

For a start it's not so much a website, more an essay. Currently I'm not seeing the need for it - as a straight information resource the Wikipedia page is more informative. You owned a palm civet as a pet but there's no real sense of what they're like as pets. Are they aggressive? Playful? Do they attack?

What are the needs of ownership - how important is the cage? Can you find examples on the Internet and link to them? Palm civets are solitary creatures in the wild - do they bond to an owner?

I suggest you take the reader on more of a personal journey of what it's like to own a palm civet as a pet. You might find it worth mentioning that it's so common it's considered a pest in its native Sri Lanka - people can get a bit defensive about owning exotic animals these days. Are there licensing requirements? Shots? Why aren't they in pet shops? Get more personal with the experience you're describing. Is my advice :)
