There's a product that's sold in most stores like Target, Sally Hanson, etc. that you can put in your hair before using a straightener that prevents your hair from being burned and damaged. When you dry your hair run your fingers down through your hair, it drys straighter. Also, running lotion or Herbal Essences de-frizzer through your hair helps but if you use lotion make sure to really work it down through your hair so there's no odd clumps of it.

You can youtube it but I know one way that helps a bit. Just get your hair damp and have a fan blower on it then just brush it and rubs it straight so it will dry that way.
