Tijuana trip on New car with NO LICENSE PLATE?

can i take my new car to Tijuana without license plate? will that be a problem?

    Mexicans do it all the time and sometimes have to wait for months before they can pick them up. You may get pulled over so take copies and use them if the Transito pull you over. Mexicans normally put the Papers on the inside window so they can easily be seen.

    Make sure you take out a Mexican insurance policy even if it is for One day, it`s only around $12.00.
