what is the difference between mark-up and mark-on; Retail Management?

mark-on is an unusual concept but is an important concept my MBA proff said, but I cant research it on the net, I cant find the books he want.

    I have never heard of mark-on while I was studying marketing management in BA.

    I suggest you ask your professor again for the definition.
