HELP! Teen pregnant, AGAIN!?

Something is really wrong here! One girl after another is scared they are pregnant--WHY? We know they get sex ed. (Could it be it is the WAY they are NOT being taught?) We know there is the internet so they can find out--but SOMETHING is missing. We know they were given the information, but these kids are STILL getting pregnant--it's an epidemic and a shame. What can we do to educate these kids BEFORE they get pregnant...or worse? Serious answers only, please. Really, we NEED to do something more--any ideas what?

If you don't know how you get pregnant, you don't know how NOT to get pregnant

Update:

As a mother, teacher and adult, I am STUNNED by how many kids are scarred they are pregnant. STUNNED that so many kids ARE pregnant! Looking for solutions. Maybe Teen Moms could do a 15 second informative section on how NOT to get pregnant. Looking for ideas...something! THIS IS HEARTBREAKING!

Update 2:

COUNT HOW MANY KIDS ARE SCARRED! I am NOT looking to argue..I am soliciting ideas to solve this situation.

Update 3:

We NEED to get the information to the kids...not have them come looking for answers. HOW? They are not looking for answers until it's too late. More proactive!

Are you talking about in real life, or on here? I wonder on here too- it's not like anyone is going to be able to tell you anything for sure over the internet.

For someone who claims to be a teacher, I must say, your grammar is terrifying. Anyway, it starts at home, not all at school. I don't think a lot of parents inform their children very well, or they throw them the "Don't have sex" bone and think that's sufficient. Teens need to be taught about safe sex, date rape, etc in order to keep themselves safe.

Sometimes, nothing will prevent sex. Some teens will do it anyway. I lost my virginity as a teenager; thankfully, I was intelligent enough to use what I knew and never became pregnant at a young age. The problem lies with the "It can't happen to me" people who think not using a condom once, or missing a few pills isn't a big deal.
