Atheists: So when you die what's next?
When you die where, what will happen to you, I ask one person back at work and he can't even answer me directly. So what next for you?
ok, just I expected same stupid answers

When I die, there is no 'next' for me.
I'm done.
The illusion of my identity disappears.
Your question is similar to asking. "What's next for a candle flame, after I blow it out?"

There is no next. When someone dies the person stops existing. Just like it did not exist before it was conceived. The body decays. When the brain stops functioning all that made up the personality ceases to exist.
Souls do not actually exist. There is no beforelife and no afterlife. Technically human life is not much different from other animals life. You do not assume, that gorillas have an afterlife, do you?
A few billion years ago a chemical reaction started. During that chemical reaction a chain molecule like RNA or DNA produces copies of itself. That reaction is still going on. It is what we call life. Life is organic chemistry. The process of copying is not perfect. The summed up errors produced interesting variations of that molecules. You and I and every other living thing is a copy (of a copy (of a copy))^x of that molecule.

Nothing, that's next.
When you die, you cease to exist, you no longer can function or have thoughts.
You usually go underground to be food source for bacteria and such, some prefer cremation or other means of burial.
However, you being dead, it does not matter to you any more.
If you want a scientific breakdown of what happens to your cells then post this question on biology section, not R&S. Science is not a belief system.

I cease to exist.
'I expected this answers, "Nothing", "that's the end", no compound explanation of your "great scientific" beliefs'
What on earth is that supposed to mean? You seem to regard an answer as stupid just because it does not fulfil your rather vain expectation that you are immortal.

When you die, your body begins to decompose due to the bacteria that are in your body and are in your surrounding environment.
Eventually, you would be reduced to skeletal remains and then to dust. The bacteria that consumed your tissues would be "eaten" by other organisms, which in turn would be eaten by other organisms, etc. and the cycle of life continues.
So as a direct answer to your question of what's next after you die: other life continues.
By the way, as a side note, atheism has nothing to do with science. Atheism at its base simply means that there exists no belief in any gods.

Nothing. Your brain stops working and your body is buried or cremated. The end.
And contrary to what Myra thinks, age has nothing to do with atheism. Some of us are old enough to formulate sensible opinions all by ourselves without reference to dusty old books or celibate old men who cut themselves off from the real world.

Nothing happens - our body decays, our mind/consciousness dies and that's it for me and every other living thing.
If there is evidence to show otherwise. i've have not seen it!
Edit - you obviously can't understand the answers you have been given, or they are not the answers you want to hear - so go feck yourself ya ignorant dikhead lol

Nobody knows. Some people think nothing, some people think there's a heaven or a hell.
Some people reeeeeaaaally believe that they know what's going to happen.
But nobody does.
There's one thing we can say for certain: the body stops working and gets eaten by bacteria etc.

i respect all religions but there is no next and you live for no purpose, killers and everyone who did bad things are the same as people who did good things... its just stupid

I don't think they really care. Age & experience and knowledge will eventually enable to understand the truth. It would be Interesting to know their foundation of belief.
Source(s): Years of research, & life experiences. Common sense would dictate that we didn't "evolve" from a rock, mass of goo or monkey - too much order in this world.
