What do you think of this claim: "Various polls peg U.S. belief in miracles at roughly 80 percent"?

"One survey suggested that 73 percent of U.S. physicians believe in miracles, and 55 percent claim to have personally witnessed treatment results they consider miraculous."

Physicians believe in miracles because in many cases, I'm sure they've seen them first hand. I've read about people rising from the dead, incurable diseases cured, etc:

    I KNOW their real !!!!!

I wrked fire/rescue. I was responding to a wreck & ended up in one myself.I was pronounced dead (signal 7) on the scene after I was t-boned while in response. I died 3 more times on life flight & then revived. My mother arrived at the scene after being called. Being a very Christian woman, my mother hit her knees quoting scripture & praying to God to let me survive. She met me at the hospital & was tld by the doctor I wouldn't live threw the night & if I did I would be brain dead. I spent 3 weeks in a coma, 4 months in hospital then 6 more in rehab. Today, I have gotten remarried & had a child. Thow, I walk with a limp & life wil never be the same I'm doing well & can enjoy my famiely !

While working I wrked wrek where the girl was paralized & she has since had a child.

I've worked wrecks where the vehicle was crushed & the ppl come out with hardly a scrach & wrked sum where there was hardley a cracked winshield & the ppl died,

There is not enough room to tell u wat all I have seen but them are two & I'm one myself.

Source(s): My personal expierance & seeing things no human should EVER have to see.

Seriously when it's remembered that nearly 80% of US citizens proclaim an affiliation with Christianity it's hardly surprising that many also believe in miracles. Miracles after all are central to Christian beliefs aren't they?
