Internet Connection on Windows 7 Ultimate?!?!?

Okay so my first operating system is Windows 8 and then dual booted windows 7 ultimate(to play most pc games) . My problem is when I installed Windows 7 Ultimate(genuine) it won't connect to the internet(not the yellow caution sign but x sign). I'm using an ethernet cable, I went to"open network and sharing" then went to change adapter settings but it wasn't detected. I can safely say that there is nothing wrong with my internet and ethernet cable because I can still use the internet on my Windows 8. When I clicked on "diagnose connection problems" it said that drivers for my ethernet cable was not installed. This problem concerns me because I use online in most of the PC games I play.

My Computer Specs(if it matters)

-i3 3220(3.3GHz processor0

-4gb ram

-Asus motherboard

Here's my router specs.

-(BRAND/ISP)- PLDT(Philippines)

-Speed- 1mb/s

Ethernet Cable specs.

-(BRAND)- CD-R KING (Philippines)

Answer that works= 10 points

.

.

Thanks in advance:)

. . . it said that drivers for my ethernet adapter was not installed . . .

it does look like drivers for your network card is not installed. Find out the make and model of your network card, look for the drivers on the manufacturer's website, download it and then install it.
