How long do headphones typically last?
I've had Philips headphones for about 7 months and though they're great, one side's starting to go out so I have to adjust the cord to hear from both sides. I want to know if I'm a horrible headphone order or not.

Headphones last as long as however you treat them. If You normally listen to your music very loud, you head phones will probably not last as long as they could if you listened the music more quite. Also, if you normally wrap your head phones around your phone or iPod or whatever, when you wrap them around like that, your actually pinching those little wires in those headphones and that makes them die quicker. It's best to just have them lying some where, and if you do wrap them, you should wrap them loosely. But, all that aside, Philips is a pretty good brand, and those head phones I think lasted a good amount of time.

I have a pair that came with an iPod Shuffle (first gen) which I purchased about 15 years ago. They still work. I have another pair that are about 7 or 8 years old that are just now starting to "crackle".
