Why do you think Enrile got involved in the reported pork barrel scam, money, prestige, women?

He almost has everything including power having occupied the top senate seat. He is old and is in the near sunset of his career. For an old fart who has all the money he can spend-why the heck did he risk further tainting an already shady past? Is he planning to donate all his accumulated wealth including the pork fat to the poor by supposedly stealing some more, ala Robin Hood? Your thoughts, please.

Greediness and maintenance of  several mistresses  as exposed by no less than his wife drove him to get involved in the scam.  He was already in power during  Marcos time and enjoyed everything as regards legal and illegal  wealth accumulation.  Powerful as he was, Napoles was just a  tool/accessory with Enrile and other lawmakers involved in said scam  as principals. With his long  experience as lawmaker, he was in the position to craft laws that will put a stop to  corruption in gov't transactions.

Corruption in the Philippines is something that goes beyond the pork barrel scam. Enrile was only dancing with the tune, like everbody else was doing. Hence, the infamous line of Jinggoy sa kanyang privilege speech the other day, "bakit kami lang?"
