Are Indonesian women open to friendship with foreign men especially Americans?
We plan to travel Indonesia next summer and hope to meet young Indonesian women for friendship and fun. We wonder how such clean friendship can evolve into something better and more cordial and mutually beneficial to our cultures.

It all depends on her religion. If she's Muslim, it's not going to happen. If she's Buddhist, Christian or another religion then it's possible.

Religion plays a big part in Indonesia,Your not allowed to marry out side your religion in Indonesia.So many are not going to date outside there religion.also culture is different depending on what Island there from.Many are very tradional women,very family oriented,Most want to marry and have children.they arew not party girls,Yes there are some that are that way.But the mojarity i have been around are just into there faith and family! I am from American married to a Indonesia woman.

Indonesian women r good and they look for a clean real relations. and i don't think they will meet foreign for wherever you think it's fun.
