Is my TV broken would repair be really expensive?

I have a Sony Rear Projection TV that I purchased from Salvation Army really cheap it still has a picture and sound but it has several Green Lines on the screen is an entire Circuit Board going to need replacement or is there a simple and inexpensive way to repair my TV successfully? The Red Power Indicator Light flashes several times when turning TV on it has been this way since the day my sister and I brought it home September 2013.

Update:

I turned up the Brightness on the TV and adjusted several other settings the Green Lines are faded a little and I heard that if you take off the Front Speaker Cover and a plate there will be a screw on the bottom in the center I can adjust with a Screwdriver turning it to the left very slightly until the lines disappear. I was told NOT to touch the Top Screws those are the FOCUS Adjustments. Is this True? I think people on Youtube said it was a Convergence problem.

    hello

do you know how much is its consumed power (see its back label)....compare with a 40 inches led tv (about 100 watts)...so you will throw it away...

Sony stopped making rear projection TVs over 5 years ago.

It'll be very difficult for anyone to find replacement parts from other TVs because there aren't many left..

If Sony still makes parts you're easily looking at $2000 for a new video board.

TVs nowadays are not designed to be "fixed". If something goes wrong with the screen or the video system, chances are it'll be far cheaper to just buy a brand new TV than get your old one fixed.
