What boombox had thee most reliable CD Players?
Sony, Panasonic, Audiovox, Sharp, JVC I thought made excellent Boomboxes any others? please post pictures I have a 1997 Audiovox CD-189 that has been pretty good still working.

All of the boomboxes, with the exception of Sony, had outsourced CD transports.... and Sony laser reliability was poor.
So there is no definitive answer - it's the luck of the draw here.
