I opened an email from sender I do not know the Subject is my yahoo id with a question mark (i.e. Subject: Ramboti ? )?

but the email is empty now I'm very worried it might have a keylogging or screen capturing spyware. Because after I opened it my computer is acting strange (slow down, hanging) How do I detect it and REMOVE it immediately?
I'm using the latest Norton Internet Security but I ran it and it didn't detect any but why my computer acting strange? Please help any computer genius out there
