What is your opinion about the movie Interstellar?
Did you enjoy the movie?
What is your age group?
What format did you see it?
What did you think about the overall story?
Did you understand some the scientific terms in the movie?
I have seen it only in the standard format because my local cinema doesn't have IMAX. Still, it blew my socks off. It is better than Star Trek Into Darkness and I am a Trekkie.
I couldn't get the soundtrack out of my mind. I have been listening to it on YouTube and I will buy it on CD.

The movie was incredible and is certainly in my top 10 Sci-fi list. But the ending with the protagonist surviving the black hole annoyed me a little and sort of seems inspired by a game a played called Mass Effect
I'm 21.
I just saw it at the cinema not sure on the details.
I wasn't expecting such defined well written characters and a story with such depth.
The conflict of linear and cyclical concepts of time, time dilation, worm holes and the grandfather clause were all things I covered in my recreational elective during my first year of university, so yes other than the actual physics discussed, I understood the movie.

Yes, I enjoyed it.
I am in my 20s.
I saw it in 4K digital.
I understood a lot of the scientific terms, at least enough to not be lost.
I had a lot of problems with this film and particularly the story, I didn't love last third or so of the movie very much. What happens is a bit silly and predictable, and I though the last 10 minutes were kind of pointless. There were a lot of "movie" moments that took me out of it. Matt Damon didn't help either. The dialogue wasn't great, a lot of it was either exposition or cheesy psuedo-philosophical lines that felt like bad True Detective, and it felt like they just there to use in the trailer. I also don't know if everything totally makes sense, and I didn't totally buy Brand's (Michael Caine) character motivation. Even though he's essentially given up on Earth he for some unexplained reason teaches Murph his entire life's work. But a lot of these are small complaints, I did overall enjoy the film. The visuals are spectacular. It has a lot of awesome concepts, I really appreciated the ambition. Few filmmakers are making challenging serious mainstream films like Nolan is. Even though it's one of Nolan's worst movies, I do think it was a step forward in some ways. This movie has a lot of heart whereas lot of his films have left me a bit cold. My favorite scene is where Cooper watches his kids age in the video messages, I thought that was amazing. Even though I didn't love this film,I think Nolan will take the things he learned by making this film and make an even better film next time. I'm so glad he's making movies, and believe he his best ones are yet to be made.
Bottom Line: Here is a film that spectacular in it's visuals, it's themes, and even in it's failures. It is a deeply flawed film that absolutely deserves to be seen on the big screen, I want everyone to form their own opinions on it, many of which will inevitable differ from mine: 6.8/10 (and by the way I would say it's better than Star Trek Into Darkness).
