is moving the 2022 world cup to winter really about the fans?

I think it to be really selfish and money oriented to trying to move the world cup to winter just to favor Europeans. there are many ways to solve the problem with that switching season.Like for instance, playing all the games at night. but is not about the game is just about the money.

Let's be serious here. Since when is football always about the fans. Only a small minority of clubs and politicians behind those leagues/clubs care about the fans by letting them have a say.

FIFA is not any different to most leagues. If there's money for them to get, then of course they will take it but I'm not sure if moving the WC will gain more money though.

I would however say, something happens for a first so why not. Of course this will damage other leagues but we should try it out, if it fails, then we shouldn't think about moving the WC at a different time/month, if its a success then this will also benefit countries to bid for the World cup, when the weather is too hot during May-July.
