What if if fifa added more teams to the world cup finals like bring it up to 40 or 48 teams?

I get a little pissed with europan world football fans and those weird minded so called "knowledgeable" fans of football who are almost offended at the thought of small nations from north america, asia, or africa

, getting to play the best European teams. In fact most of those perfectionist fans who hate the 24 team tournaments because the 3rd places get to advance should really learn to appreciate the fact that fifa world cup games are nothing if they are not knock outs.

Michel plating from fifa suggested to ad 1 team per group to increase the world cup from 32 to 40 teams. I ve heard from people who dislike this format because after three games you kind of know whos thru and who s out so there will be so many games sort of lacking importance thus losing the competitive edge that such fans love-heck I love too! Yet I m not afraid to allow 3Rd place teams to advance. A 64 team world cup would be ideal to me given the fact that it will do justice to the tourneys name. I think that a 40 or 48 team world cup would be good enough for the moment

A 40 team world cup with 8 groups of five will bring the gproup stage from 48 to 80 Games in the group stage with the two top teams advancing--which is what they proposed at fifa. I think that it is good enough, yet I would only eliminate eight teams in the group stage

And have a round of 32 which will bring the world cup from 64 to12 games A world cup semifinalist will play 4 +5 games = 9 games which will be 2 more from what it is now.
