Start-up costs? Handmade, online shop?

I have been selling handmade items online for about a year, selling other goods on ebay for a bit longer, ive made a couple thousand, more from my handmade business..

I sold some clothing...

Now im more just making bras, tie dye socks, accesories and some clothing.

So right now, im taking a little break, just calming down on my making and selling so I can figure out my success plan.

Im making a little profit but this IS something I want to do for a living, im 17 and still in highschool, So I just need tips, Starting cost? How much inventory should I have before I start up?

Update:

I am on etsy I just need to know how much I should put into supplies/fabric and how much i should have made before I open my new shop.

I would stay with online sales, maybe get an Etsy account.

Once you start looking at storefront rental you're looking at a HUGE output of cash to get up and running.
