Can Cruz and Kasich withdraw their names from the Florida GOP Primary ballot?

It seems inevitable that Trump will have the most candidates at the conclusion of the Primaries. It also seems likely that he will fall short of the 1237 he needs to avoid a brokered convention. If he fails to get Florida's 99 winner takes all delegates then a brokered convention seems inevitable. Since Cruz and Kasich have no hope of winning Florida surely they would be better off withdrawing and leaving Rubio with a chance of taking those delegates. That would then leave Trump short of the majority of delegates and leave the possibility open for any of the candidates to still win the nomination.

No. But the brand wants Rubio to be the nominee. They dont like Cruz or Trump and Kasich is too clean cut.

What is so bad about a brokered convention?

If Trump gets tossed out then he will have good reason to run as a third party candidate.
