Why can I not access the internet on my ipad 1 while connected to wi fi?

Asking a question twice is bad policy on a forum like this. As it is a worldwide forum, you should wait 24 hours before asking a second time.
Can you access your router?
What addresses is the device using?
Does it work on other wireless networks?
You can be connected to WiFi, but if your IP address, gateway address or DNS address are wrong, then you won't be able to access the Internet. You will have to do some investigations to find out where your problem is.
If you can open the router's login page, then your device's IP address is probably valid. After that, you should check or set your gateway and DNS addresses to be the address of the router.
Is the device using DHCP for all its address settings, or have you tried to set up addresses manually?
Is DHCP enabled in your router?
