more info required. in what application or software?

Here, I don't know why that would be. I can't get rid of the spellcheck even if I wanted, as far as I can tell. It isn't an option.

In MS Word, for example, there are many possible reasons. Most common is that you have it turned off on purpose. Also could be a set of words that are defined as "do not spell check" (which is an option associated with choice of language). It is also possible that you have a document that was previously spell-check (maybe you adapted from a different report or document and just changed it for a new purpose) and that could make some errors not be identified (might have been ignored in an earlier check) so you would need to go into options and tell the checker to redo the entire document.

So, like I said, it depends on what you are doing that the spellcheck is failing under. Gotta tell us if you want help.

Maybe it's a real word that means something different. Barley instead of barely.
