can anybody suggest a way to look for the answers given by me in the past - say 3 or 5 years back.yahoo has stopped indexing the answers.?
looking sequentially or chronologically-you know- is a pain

As far as I know, the only way you can view your old answers is to engage the seemingly endless scroll of questions you've answered. Hopefully someone else who HAS ACTUALLY READ YOUR QUESTION and understands you're seeking a way around that, can give you a better answer than mine.
This is one of many things that we users on the system several years back complained vociferously about when Yahoo converted from the legendary "green" format to the "purple" one. With the green format your old answers were formatted as a page of 50 questions, and you could page back rather than tediously scroll down. It would also take a lot of time to page back 360 pages or so if you'd answered a lot of questions, but it was still much faster than the scrolling through 18,000 of them.

There really is no way with over 10000 answers. The only advice is to be very patient. If you can remember the question subject a search will sometimes find the question if you are lucky.
