I don't think that they had to pull it, I don't think that it was intended to be racist in any way,but in the end they made a business decision.

Having read the arguments and then watched the commercial I can see that the people had a point. This isn't the first time they had to pull an ad due to a controversy, it's just the first time that a major celebrity brought it to the world's attention.
