prices change constantly, also prices range differently in different locations, so impossible to say EXACTLY what $ 100 will buy at any given moment.

We generally buy milk by the gallon. A gallon is about 3.78 liters.
With $100, we can buy about 29 gallons. That would be about 108 liters.
Regular (87 octane) gasoline (petrol) is another item that might be helpful.
Today, I bought gasoline at $2.349 per gallon. That would be about $0.62 per liter.
So, for $100, I could buy about 160 liters (42 Gallons) of gasoline.

In most parts of the US 3.78 liters costs about 3 dollars.
For rice 10kg of rice costs about 5 dollars.
Try going to the Walmart site to find better figures. Size of container purchased can change the price a lot. By using that site an idea can also be gotten about how much thing cost in a specific area.

Since someone else already did milk, I'll do rice. Without boring you with the the math, I could go to a grocery store right now with $100 and purchase about 110 kg of rice.

It will buy you 100 kg of rice, 20 litres of milk, 4 dozen eggs, and a henway.

Well, we generally sell milk by the gallon and rice by the pound. A gallon of milk is about $2.67 these days (obviously more for organic and special milks) -- so doing the conversion... about 141-142 liters of milk. Also, white rice is about 71 cents/lb, so about 64 kg of rice.

first of all - if you're asking about US things don't use the metric system. Second, what you have listed might run someone 10 dollars total in the US.
