If someone is attracted to the opposite sex for their whole life, and have a successful relationship going on...?
...and then their partner gets a surgery to become the opposite sex, and the couple stays together then did the first person decide to be attracted to the opposite sex or did something about them physically or mentally change because of what their partner went through?

It's probably very personal matter but perhaps they fell in love with the person rather than just the fact they were opposite sex. Or then again maybe they were bi all along
