does the rodent repellent 'Fresh Cab" work in engine area of a car?

    Plain old MOTH BALLS work better. And a lot cheaper too.

    The same effect can be achieved by parking on a galvanized pig wire grid,

    then connecting a hotwire fence controller to the grid GND and metal hitch.

    Yes - I've used it successfully. It has to be replaced every few months though. If the car is kept outdoors moth balls are more effective but much smellier.

    Just throw some rat poison cubes around the area.
