Did The British Royal Family all support Adolf Hitler?
I keep hearing this. But it makes no sense. weren't The British and Americans fighting against The Germans in world war 2? And didn't Adolf Hitler Bomb Buckingham Palace at some point? I don't get the people that say they loved Adolf Hitler. I think maybe King Edward VIII might have supported Adolf Hitler, but he even if he did, He was an abdicated King and The British Royal Family basically shunned him from their lives after that, he abdicated. And they say that The British Royal Family are German, But they are mostly born in England, as far as i Know. So, what is meant when people say these things?

The royal family come from german roots, both victoria and albert were german, and their blood goes way back, in 1917 the british royal family name was saxe-coborg -gotha,they changed it to windsor to combat all the anti german feeling, they did not support hitler in the second war world, as you rightly say buckingham palace was bombed six times,and the royal family in world war two gave a lot of people hope, they refused to leave the country, at one point the government wanted them to go to canada.Edward VIII was a rather stupid man who visited germany and met hitler after he abdicated,this made the british government send him to the bahamas where he could do no harm.

Buckingham Palace might have been bombed, but the damage was minimal. Not to worry though, the royal family weren't in, They were hiding in Wiltshire. Prince Philip was Hitler Jugend, The Queen has been snapped doing the Hitler salute, Edward the Nazi king, was a Nazi king so we exiled him to the West Indies, and Prince Harry has been spotted wearing a Nazi uniform. All low level stuff you say?? I have never met anyone who has done any of these things, But the evidence against the royals keeps mounting up.

dunno, I think as they have german links i can see why it would be suggested, whether they did or not I don;t thinkso. If there was something definite it would have likely been public knowledge by now. My understanding is hitler was originally from a more socialist/populist background (not linking current socailists to hitler) unlikely to have been connected to royalty of the time.

No they did not. The King who abdicated the throne and his American wife were the Hitler supporters. It was Edward VIII.

The man who would be king was a Nazi and met Hitler but he abdicated . But listen this Queen was not raised racist or Nazi . My gran's mum and dad ( Jewish ) owned a shoe repairing business and they did a lot of work for Buckingham Palace , particularly the Queen Mother when she was the Duchess Of York , and she praised him .

There were those in the Royal family that wanted peace. Even if it meant assimilation.
