2018-19 Dodge Challenger performance mods? 0-60?

Hey everyone,

I ll be getting a 2018 or 2019 Dodge Challenger GT - AWD & 6 cylinder soon.

I m very new to this kind of thing, so I m wondering if it s possible to bring the 0-60 down to at least 4.5 or better. If so, what modifications will I need?

That kind of acceleration goal out of a V6 version is only going to be attained if you add forced induction. A GOOD supercharger or turbocharger kit might get you near that sort of acceleration, but it's also going to cost you a whole lot of money (as in several thousand dollars all-in) because not only are well engineered superchargers/turbo kits expensive, there'd be a lot of other parts and "tuning" needed or the thing would probably just fall apart soon after you've made it faster. And you'd be voiding the warranty. And it still probably wouldn't be anywhere near as reliable as stock. Etc.,

It would be far easier to just get a faster version of the car if you want one that is that much faster. There's no shortage of Challengers for sale with a lot more power right from the factory than the V6/AWD version has. It's not worth the time/money to try and modify yours to be as fast as one that was engineered to actually handle that kind of power right from the factory by a team of engineers and designers who build cars like that for a living.

If zero to 60 is that important to you, you will soon be doing 60 to zero in .00002 seconds.

    1) You're in fantasy land. You don't have enough money to shave 2 seconds off it's stock performance.

    2) There is NOTHING you can do that won't void the warranty

    3) Go buy an Audi S5. Oh wait, you can't even afford a Challenger T/A. What was I thinking?

Update. If you need AWD to get to work, you certainly don't need to go 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. Time to grow up.
