    From where?

You'll spend more time waiting at the airport than you will behind the wheel.

It depends on whether or not you will need a car during your visit and if you are able to rent a car.

As anyone who bothered to look this up on Google Maps could have seen, Katy TX to New Orleans LA is 375 miles.

Only you can decide as to whatever your (unspecified) car would be up to such a road trip, or what taking it would cost. A Prius will need a lot less gas, for example, than a Crown Victoria.

Better is a subjective term. You need to ask questions based on objective factors, as what would be 'better' for any of us might not be what you would prefer.

Well, that depends at least partly on where you're coming from, and you forgot to tell us that. If you live where I live, driving there will extend your time away by at least ten days.

Is this a serious question? Did you think it through when asking such a question on a global forum?

Depends what you're after. Fly if you don't have much time and just want the urban restaurants and entertainment. Drive, if you want a taste of nature in Louisiana's outdoor sportsman's paradise.

If you're in Hammond, Louisiana then it's better to drive while if you're in Fairbanks, Alaska it's better to fly.

    Where are you coming from?

Are you bringing any drugs or guns?

Are you on the no-fly list?

It depends on where you're starting from.
