New Orleans is one of the world's special places, in a good way.

It has its good and bad. Good: Food.  Bad: crime and flooding.

I used to frequent New Orleans for fun and games, while I lived in New Iberia, LA. I like NO. It had old world charm. And the French/Creole cooking is to die for. Brennen's for breakfast is a must. The French Quarter (Bourbon St.) is a hoot. Great jazz clubs and the Hurricanes are super.

I confess, I have not been there since the great flood. So I don't know how it is now.

It's a fun city to visit with a lot to see and do. Jazz Fest is particularly good
