Should I visit New Orleans or Atlanta?

New Orleans and Atlanta are two very different cities.  New Orleans has more of a "local" feel to it.  Very culturally rich, amazing foods, a ton of festivals.  Atlanta feels more like a big city.  Very diverse, always something going on, and spread out.  I don't think you will go wrong with either location.  There's a great time to be had in both.

It depends on what you want.

    Atlanta website:

    New Orleans websites:

    https://www.neworleans.com/

Both Atlanta and New Orleans are brutally hot + humid in July and August. If you must visit during summer then wear lightweight, light-color clothing and all-cotton clothing is best. Take it easy during the afternoons.

Either one is a good place to visit. I'd go to New Orleans first though.

Atlanta. More to do, visit Coco-Cola factory, and their aquarium.

Gosh, I dunno. It's up to you. Is this an either / or? I'd go with New Orleans. Atlanta is very hot this time of year. New Orleans is too but the food is way better.
