What do you think of this toyota?
Its a 2001 Toyota avalon. I like my toyota's, pretty much the only make I'd buy since I only hear good things about its reliability. The guy has the condition set as "good", it's got a bit of rust trim around the hood. The car has almsot 200k miles on it, V6 engine. He's selling it for $2,000 dollars, and claims it's in excellent mechanical condition. During our emailing back and forth, he was very upfront about everything, sounded professional, and even shared the maintenance the car was under since 2016. The title is clean, it's got a check engine light on, and he claims he is selling it under the Kelley Blue Book value, but when I searched it on KBB, the max range for the car, with as many features as i could selected which im sure some features arent even in this avalon, was $1,600. Should I buy it? What do you think? I'll be having it inspected and taken for a test drive soon and want some opinions.

You believe all that hype do you, well I have a bridge in Brooklin you may be interested in. Toyota has good marking people, now the car is a piece of junk to work on. I refuse to work on them. JUNK JUNK JUNK!

If your mechanic is good and thorough...if it rides well....if the engine light issue is resolved...if it passes inspection. In that case, grab it.

Consider the check engine light issue. Corrections can range from basic repairs to extensive expensive repeated issues. Before committing attempt to have the check engine light status repaired or at least diagnosed.

You expect strangers to give you a yes or no and you don't even care enough to go see it in person?

I think I don't care.
But in all honesty, I KNOW I don't.
