People and kangaroos are animals

There is a species called The Bludger which is a parasite that exists on others , e.g Grubbie and Binga.

In my favorite book, the THORN BIRDS, set in Australia, they had millions of Jack rabbits to go with the kangas. Lots of horses and dogs on the plantation.

we have just as many animals as every other country
