Why was Blair such a lapdog of Bush?
He should've refused to involve the UK in the Iraq War. Other US allies like France and Germany refused to participate and were vocal in their criticism of the war.

he may have had religious motivations as Bush seemed to have had. . Bush told French president Jacques Chirac that it was a war between Gog and Magog .

Bush needed an ally. He was lucky Blair was available.
The English ™ people objected somewhat but Tony's skin was thick.
Saddam was toppled and the world has been peaceful since.
