What was your favorite toy when you were 8-years-old?

It was a tin wind up train. My parents couldn't afford to buy me any carriages that year. The next 2 years were carriage free years, then on the forth year they bought me three tin carriages. I played all day that summers day and first thing the following morning took my tin train and its 3 tin carriages outside to play, after 15 min's mum called me inside.

I must have been inside for only 5 mins and mum said, where's your train? I ran outside and there is was in the curb at the side of the road crushed flat by the cart wheels of the milkman's  float. Dad did is best to straighten it but it was no use. I kept the crushed train and the three carriages for the next 9 years in a box under my bed.

Sad story init NB, I think I'm filling up thinking about it. ;-(

Goodness that was a long time ago. It was either the Furby or Sky Dancer. Some others I really enjoyed as a kid was my Kougra pocket neopet.

I liked dinosaurs and horses (kind of a weird combination).

I was quite in love with drawing and painting at that age, so art supplies. And I liked playing with my etch a sketch too.

At 8, I had a lot of cut-up Barbies; I gave them mohawks and tattoos, LOL. 

I loved lego. Eight or so is when I went from space to technic. 

I HAD A BIG BEAUTIFUL DOLL WITH BROWN HAIR AND HER NAME WAS DOROTHY...I LOVED HER..
