please put this question in taxes. for doctor and hospital bills are credit card monthly statements adequate?

No. Credit card statement show only whom you paid, not what you purchased from them. Since doctors and hospitals offer some services that you can't claim on your taxes, a credit card statement does not indicate whether there is anything to put on your taxes.

You'd need something to show what the payment was for, like a bill
