Are lonely people bad tippers because they're mad at the world ?

Who said they owe you anything? You sound like an entitled leech. Get a real job if you want more money, but don't expect the customer to pay your rent. 

Tipping is wrong. The employees aren’t victims or slaves. They accepted the job. It pays minimum wage whether you understand or not. There are other jobs that pay better like Walmart or Costco. Why not apply there? Oh right, because your buddies told you that you can make $300 in tips per shift and you think I'm obligated to make that dream come true.

Back in the day I frequently used to 'roll' alone and was never lonely.

I'd come home from the nightclub, bar, or even restaurants on a few occasions, with ph#s.

When I went to a bar that I frequented regularly I always gave my bartender a $20 tip on the first drink (N.Y.C. circa 90s') and generally get more than that in buybacks, which I later found not to be a policy in every state I traveled to.

I generally hit the restaurants after the bars shut down, or with at least one friend if not more, at various times during the day, so there was no way to get out of tipping then even if I wanted to, but when I was flying solo, I always tipped well when the service was at least "passable."

Even bad service would get a tip from me. Not a lot, enough to indicate I thought the service was bad and I'd probably never go back. Maybe you're just a terrible server.

At the risk of being called "sexist" or a bigot, I can tell you that when I worked in an industry for decades where tipping was allowed and appreciated there were two groups of people who frequently simply did not tip, generally speaking, in comparison to others who did.

I'm sure in one case with this "group" it was not only due to economic limitations, but GENERALLY not being raised to be accustomed to tipping.

In the case of the "other group" I think and feel it was just from being GENERALLY (not in all cases) overindulged, spoiled and just used to having others pay their way for most of their lives.

Though in some cases I'd get "tips" from THAT group in non monetary.. ahem.. transactions, let's say.

tldr; It depends on the service. If you are expecting a tip for delivering bad service, you're expecting too much.

No, they're mad at the world because they're bad tippers. 

They might be unsatisfied with the service or just not used to tipping.

I am lonely and I tip well. 

If someone is by their self and dining out alone, they don't want anyone else there.  Without having to answer to someone else for a lack of social etiquette... well, they don't care what someone like yourself who condescends them behind their back thinks.

No.  lonely people tend to not eat out and single diners tend to be good tippers IF the service is good.
