Democrats, which Republican policies are the most detrimental to the growth of the US for you? ?

I'm curious which policies have negatively affected you and which ones will negatively affect you?

Take Care, With Love Through God and Jesus and The Holy Ghost,

Update:

I agree; Republican's only "policy" is less government solves everything. Republican's policy is no policy. They have imaginary thinking all problems can resolve by doing nothing; that the problems Democrats see as problems are not problems at all. Thus, they blissfully live in their bubble-world communities until life affects them, then they are all about changing rules and laws to benefit themselves.

    There's a number of them.

Long-term I think that one of the most disastrous is going to be the complete subservience which they have for the fossil fuel industry in the refusal to do anything about global warming. We can see some of the disastrous implications of this already in California and other Western States. California has three of the five largest fires in its history occurring right now. On the Gulf Coast, we saw Louisiana and other Gulf States devastated by a one-two punch of two massive hurricanes just a few weeks after each other. We're going to see the increasing bad effects from global warming. The Republican refusal to do anything about this is a huge problem.

More immediately, the Republican decision to deny science and to disdain expertise has had disastrous short-term consequences for America. There are over 200,000 people dead from covid. A large portion of these are people who would have survived if Republicans and treated the disease honestly. Now, some of this problem is unique to Donald Trump. His psychological disorders let him to deny the reality of the virus in a way which ended up killing a lot of people. But I think there are problems with Republicans in general. Namely, they spent decades sustaining science and expertise. This has left them ill-equipped to deal with scientific problem such as a major disease outbreak. So we see, for example, lots of Republicans not wearing masks even know we've got pretty good evidence that they slowed the spread of the disease.

From the perspective of a gay person, Republicans don't feel my marriage should be allowed and believe I should be able to be fired from my job simply because I am gay under the guise of "religious liberty".

    .

But the bigger problem I see with Republicans is their lack of policy ideas. All they can seem to do is say "no" to anything Democrats propose. Is there a Republican plan to address health care? They've had 12 years to come up with an alternative to the ACA and haven't presented one.

    .

    What about higher education?

    .

What about climate change, the environment, sustainability, and renewable energy? I'm not even sure a majority of Republicans accept climate science as a reality (being the only major political party in the world to deny this, as far as I know).

    .

Their approach to welfare is cruel and inhumane, in my opinion. They want to propose a few billion $ cuts in aid that Americans depend on to save a buck but have no problem adding trillions to the debt by handing out tax cuts to the wealthy and giant corporations.

    .

Republicans want Wall Street to run free and unsupervised, which typically leads to massive financial collapse.
